Kyla 'Sita' Suarez

Studio Director & Event Director / Counselor / Yoga Instructor

Kyla Suarez, MS, RYT-200, Y4C has been raised in the beautiful green mountains on the quiet dirt roads of Vermont. Kyla has an adventurous, kind and curious spirit, of wanting to explore the self while deepening her self-awareness and gain more knowledge in alternative methods of healing the mind, body and soul. Kyla found herself in undergraduate school drawn to the world of psychology and wanting to always dive deeper, leading to a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. Kyla knew that she needed something more to offer her mental health clients and herself while she struggled with anxiety and depression when her father was diagnosed with cancer. Kyla had found yoga in high school; however, it was a practice that would come and go until a more regular yoga practice found her in 2014 when her father passed away from Mesothelioma. To save herself and offer a more integrative practice to her mental health clients she went on to obtain a certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher for 200 hours from Grateful Yoga and has been trained in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Yoga 4 Cancer and EMDR. Kyla teaches private individual and group yoga classes as well as yoga classes to the general public, including specific classes to support a safe and healing space to populations in need; such as survivors of cancer and going through cancer treatments, adolescents and adults struggling with trauma and mental health issues, and obesity. Kyla wanted to make the mission of full body, mind and soul healing something larger, therefore she developed her own business and is the founder of Vermont Be True Yoga and the annual Vermont Be True Yoga Festival held at Milldale Farm Center for Wellness located in Fairlee, Vermont.

Kyla spends her free time enjoying the 5 wonderful seasons (mud season) in Vermont with her partner, dogs, friends and family playing outdoors on mountain bikes, hiking, frolicking through the forest sparking her creative energy, taking photos of the beauty surrounding her, traveling to lands unknown, doing yoga, eating dark chocolates, and making new friends.
